a hero passionate about his community and the outdoors…

A Grenada native, he grew up on a farm and loved hunting and fishing. He especially loved hand grabbing fish in the Yalobusha River.

He worked as a special agent for the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics. He is renowned as a wise and courageous mentor to family, friends and co-workers. In February 2016 he was shot and killed when he and other authorities responded to a domestic dispute at a home near Iuka in Tishomingo County. He was 44 years old.
